Former football player Rich Gannon

Gannon was a fourth round pick (98 th overall) by the New England Patriots in the 1987 draft. He
was acquired by the Vikings two weeks after the draft. After 12 seasons as a quarterback for the
Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs, Gannon joined the Oakland
Raiders in 1999 where he had his best seasons in the NFL.

Gannon is from Philadelphia, Pa., Gannon and his wife, Shelley, and two
daughters now reside in Excelsior, Minn.
