Youth Exchange Program
Youth Exchange Program
The Excelsior Morning Rotary Club has sponsored both inbound and outbound students for the Long-term Exchange Program nearly every year since we started in 1998. The objective of Rotary Exchange Programs is to foster world peace and international understanding. It is hoped that the participants will experience firsthand, the challenges and accomplishments of other countries, by living with and meeting people of different cultures.

Our club has sponsored one outgoing student and one inbound exchange student for the 24-25 school year.

Learn more about our exchange program and how to apply to be an outbound student for the 25-26 school year.

Pull tabs have been added to the menu at Maynards in Excelsior, The Narrows in Navarre and now North Coop at the corner of 7/41 giving people a new way to support organizations in the Lake Minnetonka area.

The Excelsior Morning Rotary Club and Maynards have partnered together on other projects for more than two decades. Our group has held our weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7am at Maynards for the past 21 years. During that time, members of the club and the Stevens family have built strong relationships.

Our relationship with The Narrows is strong and we look forward to supporting non-profits in the Navarre/Orono/Westonka area.

With the addition of a partner on the W/SW part of our area we will be able to expand our support to a wider area within the Minnetonka School District.

All of the proceeds from the sale of pull tabs will be distributed by the Excelsior Morning Rotary Club to local organizations like the ICA Food Shelf, WeCAN, Open Hands Foundation, Tree House and Scholarships to local High School graduates.
